Brandon Routh and Dylan Dog: Dead of Night coming to Blu-ray

Twentieth Century Fox has announced that the horrror/comedy/crime drama DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT, starring Brandon Routh, Taye Diggs, Sam Huntington, Anita Briem and Kimberly Whalen, will be released on Blu-ray July 26, 2011. The film follows the adventures of a supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog (Routh), who seeks out monsters residing in the Louisiana bayou. The film arrived and left the theaters rather quickly and only grossed a bit over $1 million, however it received pretty decent reviews but apparently didn’t appeal to a wide enough audience.

I actually thought this film looked pretty fun but then again I don’t have terribly high expectations. Plus it’s good to see Brandon Routh back in the saddle. I wasn’t terribly fond of SUPERMAN RETURNS but Routh seemed like a pretty good actor and I definitely want to see him in more stuff. No special features have been released yet.
