Everything we’ve seen in the past five days for David Fincher’s THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO has been incredibly confusing. First, there was the red band international trailer that was completely awesome, but looked like it was a bootleg copy shot in a movie theater. That led some people to believe the whole thing was a ruse by Sony. Then we had the green band trailer that was basically the same thing but without the nudity. But even that wasn’t in HD. Now we have two images of the international posters for the film, which look like they were snapped by a photographer at a movie theater. Where’s the official marketing for this film and when do we get to see it? David Fincher is notoriously anal about every aspect of his films and if he’s not behind this strange campaign, I’d be suprised.
