Sam Worthington is attached to space war film for Warner Bros.

Sam Worthington is off to space. Warner Bros. has pitched a deal for a science-fiction project to be written by Aaron Guzikowski that Worthington will star in.
The plot is being kept under tight wraps but Deadline mentions that this is a “grounded space war film”. The project would also be reuniting Worthington with his CLASH OF THE TITANS producer, Basil Iwanyk. No other details were provided on the film.
Guzikowski is an up and coming screenwriter who recently penned the CONTRABAND remake which will star Mark Wahlberg, Kate Beckinsale and Ben Foster. He also as projects coming up for HBO and USA Network.
Worthington is currently busy filming the WRATH OF THE TITANS, the second installment of the TITANS remake franchise. The actor can be seen next in THE FIELDS starring Chloe Moretz, Jessica Chastain and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, which is due out July 16th.
