First look at Colin Farrell in the Total Recall remake

Just typing the words “total recall remake” together makes my skin crawl. But I’m not going to go on a tangent about how this movie is a waste, blah, blah, blah. No, let’s focus on what we have in front of us, which is the first official image of Colin Farrell in the film. Judging by the funky looking chair in front of him, this is presumably right after Quaid (Farrell) gets some false memories implanted in his brain. At this point, it doesn’t look like things are working out for our hero.

Len Wiseman (UNDERWORLD, and Kate Beckinsale’s husband) is directing the reboot/remake and he has an impressive cast to work with, including Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, Bill Nighy, John Cho and Bryan Cranston. It’s still filming with a target release date of August 3rd, 2012.
