The first teaser trailer for The Avengers will debut after Captain America

We’re normally pretty bold when it comes to posting “leaked” information about films, but in this case, I just don’t think it’s right.  So instead, I’ll just let you know that when you see CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER this weekend, you need to stick around until after the credits and then behold the first teaser trailer for THE AVENGERS.  If you want to ruin the surprise, I’m sure you could go searching for the trailer on YouTube, or any other file sharing site, but don’t bother; the quality is crappy and it will only ruin the fun for you.

With that in mind, the trailer is awesome and features at least fleeting images of all the Avengers, including Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow and Thor.  The only one I didn’t notice was The Hulk, but I’m sure Mark Ruffalo was in there somewhere.  Like I said, the quality is horrible, but I’m sure Marvel will do the right thing and post it online this weekend, unlike Warner Brothers, who still haven’t released the trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.  THE AVENGERS hits theaters everywhere on May 4th, 2012 and stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson.
