Christian Bale and Tom Hardy battle it out as Batman and Bane on the set of The Dark Knight Rises

After hearing nothing for months about Christopher Nolan’s super secret final installment in the Batman series entitled THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, we are suddenly getting an onslaught of photographs from spies lurking around the set in Pittsburgh, PA. Yesterday we got a glimpse of Gary Oldman and Marion Cotillard on the set, then we got some photos of Tom Hardy as Bane, and now we are actually getting a couple of photos of Batman (Christian Bale) battling it out with Bane. It’s been an exciting weekend for news about THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Now all we need is another trailer or some shots of Anne Hathaway and I’ll be happy (it doesn’t take much sometimes).
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is being directed by Christopher Nolan and stars: Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and Juno Temple. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES opens in theaters on July 20, 2012.
