Kenny Wormald gives his best Kevin Bacon impression in new trailer for the Footloose remake

In an attempt to get us all pumped up to see the remake of a classic 80’s film, Paramount has released a new trailer for the upcoming reboot of FOOTLOOSE. It is hilarious, but not in a good way. I can’t decide if my favorite part is Kenny Wormald doing his best to imitate Kevin Bacon in that crazy dance scene in the barn (you know what I’m talking about) or if it’s Dennis Quaid giving the line, “I don’t want you to see that boy again…Because I heard he’s trouble.” It’s such cheesy dialogue for an 80’s film that it borders on ridiculousness for this 2011 version. I’m still chuckling.
FOOTLOOSE is directed by Craig Brewer and stars: Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, Dennis Quaid, Andie MacDowell, Ziah Colon and Ray McKinnon. It will boogie its way into theaters on October 14, 2011. Check out the trailer below.
