Ryan Gosling remains in focus on these international posters for Drive

The things a man will do for the love of a woman. Isn’t that always the main issue in a film– a female? The damsel in distress may have grown a little stronger over the years but she still makes her presence known. This is what Ryan Gosling has to deal with in Nicolas Winding Refn’s DRIVE. It’s the story of boy meets single mom. Falls in love with single mom (Carey Mulligan). Still is in love with single mom even though she has a baby daddy who just got out of prison. How does he prove his love for her? He helps the single mom’s boyfriend with a job that will potential get him thrown in jail for a long time.
Now, if that isn’t love, I don’t know what is. With Gosling on the fast track to super stardom, it’s natural that his face has been plastered all over the posters for the film. As I said before, it also serves as eye candy for the ladies. These are the same ladies who saw THE NOTEBOOK about eighty times. How did they do it? Some questions can never be answered. The first poster was obviously geared at the ladies. These two international posters on the other hand are a little more generic.
