Henry Cavill faces off against Antje Traue in new set photos from Man of Steel

More set photos from Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, MAN OF STEEL, have been released and now it’s starting to get exciting. Below we actually get some better shots of Superman (Henry Cavill) himself getting ready for a showdown (I’m assuming) with the villainess Faora (Antje Traue). I’m not really familiar with Faora, but I do know that bad guys/gals from Krypton are not to be messed with in any capacity. She’s looking quite tough and menacing in her black spandex-y outfit and I’m getting pumped. I’m also very interested to find out what that guy next to her is supposed to be, he looks all geared up in a CGI uniform so let’s all keep our fingers crossed that Zack Snyder doesn’t do anything too ridiculous.

MAN OF STEEL will star Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond, Antje Traue and Christopher Meloni. It will open in theaters on June 14, 2013.
