Taylor Lautner is one of several actors wanted for The Expendables 2

There are still slots to be filled for characters in THE EXPENDABLES 2. Donnie Yen (IP MAN) was the latest to be rumored as a possible member of the action squad.
Director Simon West has put together a list of actors he’d really like to see in the sequel. So which names are scribbled on that list? Sources say there’s mention of Taylor Lautner, Christopher Lambert, Christian Slater and Nicolas Cage. Apparently the offers have yet to be extended to those actors. They say that the list is actually pretty large but that’s all we have as of now.
What’s the likelihood that any of these actors would even consider it? Right off the bat, I’d say that Slater stands out as a possible contender. This stemming from the fact that Slater is currently working with Sylvester Stallone on BULLET IN THE HEAD. I would definitely rule out Lautner since his “action career” hasn’t even started. His next flick, ABDUCTION has yet to come out. As for Cage and Lambert, I don’t see Cage on it but maybe Lambert. But in my opinion there will only be one.
