Another day, another batch of set photos from MAN OF STEEL. But this time, we get some great, close-up shots of Henry Cavill in his full Superman costume. Prior to these photos, all we’ve seen is the official image, which made it hard to make out exactly what the costume looked like. But now, we get some details. I dig the new suit. It’s different from the Christopher Reeve suit from the 80’s, but they held true to the overall feel of the suit. I also like the dark blue and red and the grey accents on the legs. Overall, it looks good.
Along with Henry Cavill, the film stars Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Antje Traue, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond, Michael Shannon, Christopher Meloni and Laurence Fishburne. Zack Snyder is handling directing duties on the reboot with a close eye from producer Christopher Nolan. MAN OF STEEL hits theaters on June 14th, 2013.
