Ryan Gosling looks intense in a new image and TV spot from Drive

I’m extremely excited to see how American audiences react to Nicolas Winding Refn’s “action” film DRIVE. I’m afraid too many people are going to go into it thinking it’s another incarnation of Fast and Furious. But hopefully enough people will want to go see it to understand why Refn won the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival and why the movie has such a buzz around it right now. Film District is very aware they have what might be a huge hit on their hands and so they’re releasing a new image and a TV spot from the film to get people excited. If you’re not already excited, then take a look at the TV spot and then watch the full DRIVE trailer and that should do it.

DRIVE stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Christina Hendricks, Ron Perlman Oscar Isaac, Albert Brooks and Bryan Cranston. It hits theaters everywhere on September 16th.
