Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon cross paths in these set photos from R.I.P.D.

Ladies get ready to swoon, it’s Ryan Reynolds photo-op time. Honestly, I’m more psyched about Kevin Bacon than Reynolds. Give me Ryan Reynolds from five years ago and I’d be more excited. Lately he’s just been giving me a case of the underwhelms.
Bacon however seems to be in his prime with his latest batch of on-screen triumphs. Yes, I’m talking about that Logitech commercial. Who’s a bigger fan of Kevin Bacon than Kevin Bacon? No one. In these new photos from the set of R.I.P.D., the two actors are looking cool next to this super awesome Dodge Challenger. That is a sweet ride.
Something bothers me about these photos though–I thought Bacon was the bad guy? Why would you get in the car with a bad guy? I haven’t read the comic version of R.I.P.D. so I’m clueless on the story as a whole. The synopsis centers on a recently slain cop who joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him. Maybe Bacon is a good cop gone bad. He’s such an excellent villain. Jeff Bridges also stars.
