Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges on the set of R.I.P.D.

I’m still not sure how the theatrical adaptation of the comic book, R.I.P.D., is going to work out since the idea of a team of “dead” policemen that police the dead is a pretty far reaching idea, even in this day and age of comic book movies. But I’m loving the look of Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds on set as they continue filming in Boston. Ryan Reynolds is lucky he’s got the best abs in the business because if he didn’t, there’s no way he’d be able to pull off that gun holster. Brown on black? Someone call the fashion police.

The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Mary Louise-Parker and Kevin Bacon. Robert Schwentke (RED) is handling directing duties. Unfortunately, the film won’t hit theaters until June 28^th, 2013.
