Everyone’s favorite man crush, Ryan Gosling, is still filming the period crime drama GANGSTER SQUAD. I thought these pictures were great in how there’s a fight going on (featuring Michael Pena) all around Gosling and he’s just standing there, as if nothing is happening. This makes me excited to see what they’re going to do with his character since judging by these pics, he’s going to be one cool dude. I also love the outfits. With the success of all of these period shows and movies, you’d think that that fashion would have made a comeback by now.

GANGSTER SQUAD has an impressive cast that includes Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Anthony Mackie, Michael Pena, Giovanni Ribisi, Holt McCallany, Frank Grillo, Robert Patrick, Nick Nolte and Emma Stone. ZOMBIELAND director Ruben Fleischer is handling directing duties for the film that’s due to hit theaters in 2012.
