Brad Pitt is wanted by Warner Brothers for Doug Liman's All You Need is Kill

Brad Pitt will always be a sought after man in Hollywood. He’s a good actor and always brings in the dollars. His most recent film, MONEYBALL is getting good praise so far from critics. I’m hoping I get a chance to see it over the weekend.
The next studio to want Pitt is Warner Brothers who hope to put him in Doug Liman’s ALL YOU NEED IS KILL. If he takes the role he would play a young Army recruit who, despite being killed in the first day of intergalactic alien invasion of Earth, is continually resurrected to the day before he was killed. There were problems with the script due to an issue with the third act that involved the lead calling on aliens. This has now been changed and the studio wants to push the film ahead. The film is an adaptation of the manga by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.
Pitt may not take it due to another film being set up at Warner Bros. called THE MISSION. It’s rumored that David O. Russell is interested in directing. So the actor must choose which he wants to do.
