I understand that studios have to market their films, especially films they have awards aspirations for, but after the third official trailer for THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, I feel like I’ve seen too much of David Fincher’s film. Granted, it’s a remake and I’ve seen the original, but it still feels like we’ve seen a lot of footage from the film already. The new international trailer has a few new scenes, but it’s mostly a rehashed mash-up of the trailers we’ve already seen. Even with that, it’s hard not to get excited for this film. David Fincher alone is enough to get me in the theater.
he English language remake of Stieg Larsson’s novel stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Robin Wright, Christopher Plummer and Stellan Skarsgard. It hits theaters everywhere on December 21st, 2011, just in time for Christmas (and awards season).
