Tintin and Snowy are ready to go on a journey on the final poster for The Adventures of Tintin

I never got into TINTIN nor did I know anyone else who did. I think my Mom might have mentioned that she watched it before but it was never anything that was turned on in our house when I was little. They played it on television for the first time in 1958 until 1962 then brought it back in 1991. It only lasted for a year. So it must have been a flash in the pan that feel behind the millions of other shows that were out in the early 90s.
It started out as a series of comic books in 1929 and switched mediums over the years. There have been film adaptations but none from Steven Spielberg who got help from WETA animators to create this life like world. A final poster for THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN focuses on Tintin and his faithful dog, Snowy. In the film, Tintin (Jamie Bell) and Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock’s ancestor. But someone else is in search of the ship.
