Matt Damon and John Krasinski team up for untitled drama

Posted by: Zack Bruce

I had no idea that Matt Damon and John Krasinski were buddies. Not to mention the fact that Krasinski keeps good company.

The two will be teaming up for an untitled drama set up over at Warner Brothers. The idea came from Krasinski who co-wrote the script with Damon. Author Dave Eggers helped Krasinski develop the idea initially. Damon will direct as well as star in the indie film as a salesman who arrives in a small town only to have his whole life called into question. Krasinski has a part as well but the role was not revealed. This is also not to be confused with another project that Damon wanted to do with Krasinski called FATHER DAUGHTER TIME.

Warner Bros. has yet to greenlight the film though the plan is to shoot the flick on the east coast in the near future. Krasinski is not a stranger to the screenwriting world. He adapted Dave Foster Wallace’s book, BRIEF INTERVIEWS WITH HIDEOUS MEN.
