Joseph Gordon-Levitt looking to join Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained

Any time Joseph Gordon-Levitt joins a film, it instantly makes me more excited for the movie to come out. I was already looking forward to Quentin Tarantino’s DJANGO UNCHAINED, but now that Levitt is looking to come on board, consider me at the edge of my seat. News broke this morning that Levitt’s bike messenger thriller PREMIUM RUSH was moving from a January release to an August release and conspiracy theorists are theorizing that the move was to accommodate the shooting schedule for Django, which is due to start in early 2012.
The only strange thing about this is that all of the major roles have been cast, so it’s unclear who Levitt will play. Rumor has it that Tarantino is amending his script to make room for Levitt, but in what capacity, we don’t know. He does officially sign on, he’ll join Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Kurt Russell, Christoph Waltz, Don Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Gerald McRaney, Dennis Christopher, Laura Cayouetteand Michael K. Williams. The film arrives on December 25th, 2012.
