Joss Whedon reveals secret Much Ado About Nothing project

Oh, that sneaky Joss Whedon. Late last night, Bellwether Pictures announced that the film MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING had just wrapped. This came as news to most of the world, who had no idea that Joss Whedon was working on anything other than THE AVENGERS, but apparently, he’s been hard at work on two films, albeit very different films. Of course, we know nothing about the film, other than what we know about Shakespeare’s play and the picture below indicates it will be a more modern retelling of the famed story.

For a cast, Whedon has assembled a who’s who of former stars of his TV shows, including Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Nathan Fillion, Fran Kranz, Tom Lenk and Clark Gregg. Along with them, the film stars Reed Diamond, Sean Maher, Brian McElhaney, Jillian Morgese and Emma Bates. Again, no word on release date or trailers, but I’m sure we’ll hear more about this in the coming weeks.
