Who knew Arnold Schwarzenegger was so into Twitter? It was Aunuld who tweeted the first set photo from THE EXPENDABLES 2 and now the former Governor has tweeted a look at himself, Luis Guzman, Johnny Knoxville and Jamie Alexander on the set of THE LAST STAND. It’s hard not to like Schwarzenegger’s movies, but I have to make one observation; the guy looks really, really old. I know it’s because he is, but I’m curious as to how audiences are going to react to him since he looks considerably older now than he did in his last leading role (2003’s TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES). I guess politics does not help you age well.
The film is about a small town cop that ends up being the “last stand” as a ruthless escaped drug kingpin races towards the border. The also stars Forrest Whitaker, Eduardo Noriega and Harry Dean Stanton. The Kim Jee-Woon film hits theaters on January 18th, 2013.
