Todd Allen joins the ever expanding cast of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained

There are still more actors being signed on for Quentin Tarantino’s DJANGO UNCHAINED. One guy that you may not be familiar with that just signed on is veteran actor, Todd Allen.
Allen has been in several projects over the years stemming from film to television. He had roles in THE POSTMAN, THE APOSTLE, 48 HRS., and more recently the series FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. I slightly remember him from THE APOSTLE and wonder if it was Tarantino that went after him or if he auditioned for a role. It seems like a pick right out of left field. The role Allen will be taking on is that of plantation overseer Dollar Bill.
On another related casting note, Jonah Hill apparently had to turn down a role in the film due to scheduling conflicts. Not sure what part he would have been taking on but Hill was disappointed that he couldn’t make time for it. If it were me, I would have.
