The word “exclusive” is the most overused word among movie news outlets, but I have to hand it to Empire Magazine when they call their two cover shots of Batman and Bane “the ultimate exclusive”. It’s quite a feat and the images are nice looks at the hero and villain from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, which might be the most anticipated movie of the last five years. Granted, the excitement is diminished a bit since we’ve had so many set photos of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES that it kind of feels like an outdoor play at this point, but it’s still nice to see something official.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and Juno Temple. The film opens everywhere on July 20th, 2012.
