Helen Mirren could join Anthony Hopkins for Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho

I had no idea that there were two biopics about Alfred Hitchcock in the works. One of them involves Naomi Watts and Toby Jones, the one this article is referencing stars Anthony Hopkins. Hopkins as Hitchcock is a better deal than Jones if you want my opinion.
ALFRED HITCHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO is based on the non-fiction book by Stephen Rebello about how Hitchcock, at the height of his game as a director, decided to make a “lowly” horror movie. No studio wanted to touch it initially, so Hitchcock scrounged for financing by himself. Which also means that we will get to see someone as the legendary Anthony Perkins. That’s going to be a fun role to cast.
Another role that is soon to be cast could be the one of Hitchcock’s wife, Alma Reville. Helen Mirren is very interested in taking the role. I’m already liking this over the other Hitchcock movie simply because of the possibilities. ANVIL! THE STORY OF ANVIL director Sacha Gervasi is the helmer on this film and has been working with Hopkins to develop it for some time now.
