Mel Gibson totes a gun on the poster for How I Spent My Summer Vacation

Posted by: Zack Bruce

When it comes to the personal life of a celebrity, I try to stay out of it. I don’t know them and all I do know them for is playing a role on the big screen. I’ve always enjoyed all of Mel Gibson’s films, well almost all of them. So when it came to his personal drama, I just tried to ignore it. The media makes such a big deal out of everything anyway. I only care to be mad if he does a bad performance in a good movie or something to that extent.

Regardless of everything following him, Gibson has still been cranking out films. The last thing he starred in was THE BEAVER. I still have yet to see it and have only heard mixed reviews. Today a poster for HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION debuted out of nowhere. This is a film Gibson made back in 2009. The story is about a career criminal who finds himself locked up a Mexican prison, and learns to survive thanks to the help of a 9 year-old boy. That sounds kind of strange. The poster shows that the film will release in Summer 2012 but with no American distributor currently that may not be likely.
