As a movie lover, everything about BATTLESHIP angers me. For starters, every single line of dialogue spoken in this BATTLESHIP trailer is unbearably bad. Rihanna shouldn’t have been allowed to talk during the entire film, let alone get a few lines in the trailer. The music/sound effects used were almost identical to those used in TRANSFORMERS and finally, this film has nothing to do with the board game. Why would you add a supernatural element to this film? Why not just call it TRANSFORMERS 4 and be done with it? And if you want to get even more nauseous, then keep in mind that the film cost over $200 million to make. Yes, someone gave director Peter Berg $200 million and this is what he produced.
BATTLESHIP is being directed by Peter Berg and stars Liam Neeson,Alexander Skarsgård, Taylor Kitsch, Josh Pence, Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna and it opens in theaters on May 18, 2012.
