Little Abigail Breslin has grown up so quickly.  After wowing audiences in LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, the young actress has grown up right before our very eyes, culminating in the recent NEW YEAR’S EVE.  Now the actress is set to take on major blockbusters with a starring role in ENDER’S GAME.  And although it was rumored earlier, today we also learn that Harrison Ford has officially joined the cast of the science-fiction adaptation. The film is based off the famous novel by Orson Scott Card about a futuristic world where young humans are trained to battle an alien race.  Ford will play one of the generals training the students and Breslin will play the older sister of Ender (to be played by Asa Butterfield).

So far, the film is set to star Asa Butterfield (HUGO), Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kinglsey and Brendan Meyer.  Gavin Hood (X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE) will direct the ambitious project set to start filming in the spring.
