Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins in a new image from The Hobbit

I know fans can’t get enough Hobbit news, so Tolkein-ites will be pleased to see a new image of Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins in THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY show up. I suspect we’ll see some heavy Hobbit branding in the next few months, with some new footage probably debuting during the Super Bowl. But for now, a nice still of Bilbo walking through a forest is good enough. And once again, the image below is courtesy of USA Today.
The film stars Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Stephen Fry, Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Ian Holm, Brett McKenzie, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Benedict Cumberbatch, Luke Evans and Cate Blanchett. THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY and part 2, THE HOBBIT: THERE AND BACK AGAIN, open on December 14th, 2012 and December 13th, 2013 respectively.
