Bruce Willis and Rebecca Hall sing in the first clip from Lay the Favorite
I realized a while back that kids today don’t remember Bruce Willis’s album he released back in 1987, ‘The Return of Bruno’. Yep, before DIE HARD, Bruce wanted to be a singer, and even today still “tours” different venues with his band. It’s not unusual for actors to try their hand at singing, but I still chuckle every time I see his album cover (which you can see below and click on to purchase the CD). But anyway, the point is that in the first clip from LAY THE FAVORITE, Bruce Willis and Rebecca Hall sing along to The Hollies’ ‘The Air That I Breathe’ while driving around Vegas. It’s not much, but it should give you a nice taste of what to expect from the film that’s due to premiere at Sundance this year.
The film stars Bruce Willis, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Rebecca Hall, Vince Vaughn, Laura Prepon, Frank Grillo and Corbin Bernsen. The film is directed by Stephen Frears, who also directed HIGH FIDELITY and THE QUEEN. The film is set to hit theaters some time in 2012.
