Ed Harris joins Dwayne Johnson in Michael Bay's Pain and Gain

Everyone has their complaints about Michael Bay, but it seems that when actors work with him once, they’re willing to work with him again. That, and he always manages to find talented, respectable actors and throw them into ridiculous films. So here we are again with Ed Harris, who previously starred in THE ROCK with Michael Bay, signing on for Bay’s first post-Transformers film PAIN AND GAIN. The film is about a couple of bodybuilders that rob and kill (so they think) a wealthy businessman. But when the businessman survives, he hires a P.I. to take some creative revenge on them.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been attached from the beginning and Mark Wahlberg was attached at one point, but it seems The Rock is the only one confirmed at this point. Bay will jump on this smaller film while he waits for Paramount to throw more money at him to do another Transformers film.
