Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner and a disproportionate Chris Evans in the new Avengers poster

With the daunting task of having to fit seven superheroes on one poster, we understand if the Photoshopping doesn’t look completely perfect. But I think with a little more care, they could do better than this. Robert Downey Jr.’s hand looks twice as big as his body and Captain America looks way taller than anyone else. And all of these images look like the images from their standalone movies. The marketing so far for THE AVENGERS has been pretty decent, I’m surprised they dropped the ball on the final one sheet. And is the movie called “THE AVENGERS” or “AVENGERS ASSEMBLE”?
THE AVENGERS stars Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Stellan Skarsgard (Erik Selvig). The Joss Whedon directed film hits theaters on May 4th, 2012.
