The minions introduce the Despicable Me 2 teaser trailer

There’s really not much to say about the first teaser trailer for DESPICABLE ME 2. The film is still a year and a half away, so I’m guessing they have virtually zero animation done at this point. But that didn’t stop them from getting the buzz going early. The trailer features everyone’s favorite minions singing their own version of the Beach Boys’ classic ‘Barbara Ann’. Keep your eye on the second minion, who I found to be amusing as he slowly gets annoyed with the third minion with his blowout. Not enough to get you excited for the film, but it’s enough to remind you how much you liked the minions in the original.
DESPICABLE ME 2 will feature the voice talents of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand and Al Pacino. The animated follow up hits theaters on July 3rd, 2013.
