Tom Hardy looks to take on biker gangs for his next film
Tom Hardy is about as close as you’re going to get as a surefire, future A-list superstar in Hollywood. Of course, I said that about Colin Farrel after I saw TIGERLAND and that didn’t work out so well, but I feel pretty confident Hardy is on the right path. With a slew of big movies on the horizon, not the least of which is THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, he’s set himself up for a very productive next few years. Adding to that, he just signed a first look deal with Warner Bros. and has turned his eyes towards producing.
One of the first movies on his slate is about a Vietnam veteran that returns to San Francisco and starts a biker gang. The film will be set in the 1960’s and is based off a script from Mark L. Smith. No word on when this should get going, but I’m guessing Hardy will try to fit it in between doing press for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and filming his Capote biopic.
