Mark Ruffalo is the Hulk in new photo from The Avengers

A new image has been found from the upcoming Marvel film THE AVENGERS and shockingly enough it’s not of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth or Robert Downey, Jr. It’s actually of the Hulk, who will be played by Mark Ruffalo in the upcoming superhero film. Mark Ruffalo has been in several promotional images, but we haven’t really had a chance to see him in all of his green glory, and you know what? He looks pretty decent. In fact, you can tell that they CGI’d (I think I just made up that verb) Mark Ruffalo pretty well as you can tell by the Hulk’s facial features. This may be the most impressive interpretation of the angry green guy on film to date.
In case you may have missed the synopsis in one of our many stories about THE AVENGERS, here you go: “Marvel’s The Avengers is the superhero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as SHIELD, finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.” I never had any doubt in director Joss Whedon, but I was a little skeptical about bringing the Hulk back to the big screen. Now almost all of my doubts have been cast aside as I think Mark Ruffalo will bring a lot to the famous oversized character. I mean seriously, how could you not want to give Mark Ruffalo a hug, even when he has been bulked up to twice his normal size, hued green and going shirtless? You can’t deny it, Mark Ruffalo is cuddly no matter how CGI’d he is.
THE AVENGERS stars Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Samuel L.
