Daniel Craig and Ralph Fiennes in new photos from Bond Skyfall

Daniel Craig is looking both butch and suave as James Bond in some new photos from SKYFALL. We also get a glimpse of Ralph Fiennes firing a weapon but this is mostly a Daniel Craig party. Of the large cast, I think I’m looking forward to Javier Bardem as a bad guy again. The story will supposedly bring to light M’s (Judi Dench) past as MI6 comes under attack. While Bond tracks down the threat, his loyalty to M will be tested.
This may sound sacrilegious to some but I think Casino Royale is the best Bond film and I think Daniel Craig is the best James Bond. You can imagine my excitement since my favorite 007 is joining one of my favorite directors in Sam Mendes. AMERICAN BEAUTY and ROAD TO PERDITION (also starring Daniel Craig) are a couple of my favorite films, so I have no doubt Mendes will capitalize on the 23rd Bond film. Judging by the framing and tone of the photo with Daniel Craig in the Skyscraper, Mendes is set to create another beautifully shot film in SKYFALL with a wonderful cinematographer in Roger Deakins (SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, FARGO, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, REVELUTIONARY ROAD).
The Sam Mendes directed film will star Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory and Berenice Malohe. SKYFALL will hit theaters November 9th, 2012. You can check out more photos at ONTD.
