Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy in new photos for The Dark Knight Rises

Today we get a few more looks at the most anticipated film of the summer in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. We get glimpses of Christian Bale robbing it up as Bruce Wayne, Anne Hathaway in a masquerade ball as Cat Woman and Tom Hardy as scaring some financial computer nerds as Bane courtesy of EW.
Director and writer Christopher Nolan is currently my absolute favorite director. His films always make my top ten lists every year they come out and four of them have been in my humble opinion the best pictures – MEMENTO, BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT and INCEPTION. I’ll be honest and confess that even though I find her talented, the addition of Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman has me a little nervous. But on the plus side, the addition of Joseph Gordon-Levitt I find to be very promising. But it doesn’t really matter because with the rest of the cast headed up by Christian Bale and Mr. Christopher ‘Phillip Jermaine Wade’ Nolan (I like to make up middle names for those I admire) at the helm, I have high confidence this will be the number one movie of the summer and year.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Michael Cain, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Liam Neeson and Marion Cotillard. The Christopher Nolan directed film comes to theaters July 20th. Do you realize four of those names have won Oscars and four more have been nominated and that’s not including the technical crew – I would call that a pretty good team.
