Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana star in the new trailer for The Words

Bradley Cooper in The Words

Bradley Cooper has a new movie coming out this fall called THE WORDS and although this isn’t a film I would normally watch, I’ll watch it because it has Bradley Cooper in it. It’s not that I think Bradley Cooper is some super hot stud or anything (though he is), it’s because I feel loyal to the guy I watched for five years on the television show Alias. Maybe that’s ridiculous, but I feel more justified in my Bradley Cooper devotion because he turned out to be a dynamite actor and not just some pretty face getting by. So see that’s why I’m excited for THE WORDS no other reason.

THE WORDS is directed by Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal and follows a young writer named Rory Jansen (Bradley Cooper) who is pretty much a starving artist trying to pay his dues with writing. Just when he’s about to give up he happens upon a manuscript from another young writer from long ago who was facing the same struggles. Rory publishes this script as his own and then must face the consequences of stealing another man’s life’s work. Along with Bradley Cooper, THE WORDS also stars: Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Dennis Quaid, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons and Ben Barnes. It’s set to hit theaters on September 21, 2012.

As mentioned before, this film only mildly intrigues me but I’ll watch it because of Bradley Cooper. However, the film I’m really excited to see Bradley Cooper in is the upcoming comedy THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK directed by David O. Russell and co-starring Jennifer Lawrence. Maybe it’s because I’m a Bradley Cooper fan but it doesn’t hurt that I love the director and co-star as well. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that some of my other favorite television actors strike gold on the big screen (Nicholas Brendon- I’m looking at you).  Check out the trailer for THE WORDS below.
