The Dark Knight Rises reveals new character posters featuring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway

Have you guys started counting down the days until THE DARK KNIGHT RISES hits theaters? Well since I’m so nice I already did the work for you- THE DARK KNIGHT RISES will be in theaters in 58 days. That means we’ll probably get bombarded with more promotional materials than we can all deal with, but that’s ok. For those of us that can’t seem to get enough, today we reveal six new character posters for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. They aren’t as cool as the first poster we saw but they will probably make you stop on the way from the concession stand to the theater and put a little smile on your face.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES takes place eight years after the previous film and Batman (Christian Bale) has taken the blame for the death of Harvey Dent/Two Face. While Bruce Wayne/Batman are in exile, a new villain named Bane (Tom Hardy) is on the loose in Gotham causing all sorts of trouble. Even with the city he has protected despising his very existence, Batman must make a return with the help of Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt cheering him on. Will Batman be able to stop Bane and save Gotham again? I’m assuming so, but director Christopher Nolan just may give us a crazy twist since this is his last Batman film. Crazier things have happening in cinematic history.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and Juno Temple.
