With the success of television show Glee, everyone in Hollywood needs to prove they can carry a tune which is why we’ve had such an influx of films and television shows that revolve around music. Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out like the studios hope. A good example of that might be the upcoming comedy PITCH PERFECT, it doesn’t look all that bad but it would probably be a lot more watchable with a strong drink in hand even with the adorable Anna Kendrick on board
PITCH PERFECT follows Beca (Anna Kendrick), a new student at school who is convinced by the awful singing group that she needs to join them and help them win the big singing competition. Directed by Jason Moore and also starring: Rebel Wilson (BRIDESMAIDS), Alexis Knapp, Brittany Snow, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and John Michael Higgins, PITCH PERFECT hits theaters on October 5th, 2012.
