Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy may shoot a follow-up to Before Sunrise and Before Sunset this summer

Every once in awhile a film comes along that is so sweet and so well done that it just can’t help but make you feel good and want to follow those characters forever. Such was the case in the films BEFORE SUNRISE and BEFORE SUNSET, which followed Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy). Two characters who share a beautiful night, then nine years later share another delightful day before moving on with their lives. If you have missed these two films then you need to remedy that immediately because it looks like another installment is on the way.
It’s been reported that Ethan Hawke, Julie Delpy and director Richard Linklater are re-teaming for a third film which will be shot this summer. According to Ethan Hawke, details are sparse but this next film will have another major character: the internet. Who knows how this will work into the film but I’m sure it will fit in perfectly if it helps two great characters reunite yet again. We’ll keep you posted on any news that pops up, but let’s all keep our fingers crossed that this film moves forward. (Indiewire)
