Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey in a new batch of images from Dredd

One of the films coming out this fall is the sci-fi film DREDD starring Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey. Reactions to this remake have been both good and bad and I’m firmly in the “I have no desire to see this” camp. For whatever reason this film just hasn’t caught my attention, which is odd since I usually like these dystopian sci-fi films. Hopefully when I do watch this I’ll be pleasantly surprised and it won’t be as dull as the images make it look so far. I’m still holding out hope that Lena Headey will be the shining star on screen.
Directed by Pete Travis, DREDD takes place in a futuristic city where crime has become so awful that the cops act as the judge, jury and executioner. DREDD stars: Karl Urban, Lena Headey, Olivia Thirlby and Langley Kirkwood. It opens in theaters on September 21st, 2012. (JoBlo)
