Brad Pitt is featured in a few new photos from Killing Them Softly

Brad Pitt’s upcoming film KILLING THEM SOFTLY has probably been one of the least promoted Brad Pitt movies this writer has ever seen. Considering Brad Pitt is probably one of the most loved actors of his generation, I feel his upcoming KILLING THEM SOFTLY has received little love compared to the big summer blockbusters. Sure KILLING THEM SOFTLY is more of a gangster-esque drama that won’t bring in the big cash that THE BOURNE LEGACY will, but shouldn’t any film Brad Pitt takes part of get a little more love than its gotten? We haven’t even seen a trailer for the movie yet, isn’t that strange?
KILLING THEM SOFTLY follows a group of low-level thugs that steal some money from a mob run poker game and ends up setting off a chain of events that disrupts the crime world. Based on the book “Cogan’s Trade’ by George V. Higgins and directed by Andrew Dominik, KILLING THEM SOFTLY stars: Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta, James Gandolfini, Richard Jenkins, Ben Mendelsohn, Scoot McNairy, Max Casella, Sam Shepard and Bella Heathcote. Pushed back from its original release date of September 21st, KILLING THEM SOFTLY will now hit theaters on October 19th, 2012. (Playlist)
