X-Men: First Class sequel will officially be called X-Men: Days of Future Past

X-Men: First Class

Rumors of the X-MEN: FIRST CLASS sequel title has been roaming the internet for a few months, but it has officially been confirmed by producer Bryan Singer that the title will be called DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. This references a story line from the early 1980’s where the arc of the story goes from the present world to the future where the Earth is being run Sentinels because the Brotherhood of Evil managed to assassinate Senator Robert Kelly and everything the X-Men had worked for went to pot. Not only will this future film have time travelling involved, but there is a portion of the story where an X-Men from the future, Kitty Pryde, manages to send her mind back to the present day in order to warn the X-Men of future events. That’s quite a feat to pull off in a film but I have complete faith in Bryan Singer and director Matthew Vaughn.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will star: Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jason Flemyng and is set to open in theaters on July 18th, 2014. (IGN)
