Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul takes the lead for A Long Way Down

Aaron Paul

It looks like the hit AMC show BREAKING BAD is pumping out a new star in young Aaron Paul. If you don’t watch BREAKING BAD then you really should because it’s definitely one of the better dramas on television and one of the reasons is because of relatively unknown actor Aaron Paul. Fortunately, we will all get to known Aaron Paul pretty soon as he has just replaced Emile Hirsch in the upcoming drama A LONG WAY DOWN. I’m sure after a film like this more roles will start to come his way.

Directed by Pascal Chaumeil, A LONG WAY DOWN follows four people who have a chance meeting on New Year’s Day in a location they were all going to use to end their lives. Aaron Paul will play a pizza delivery guy named J.J., who is mourning the loss of his budding musical career and girlfriend who just dumped him; Pierce Brosnan will play a talkshow host who can’t find his way back from a massive scandal that he was a part of; Toni Collette will lay a distraught mother of a disabled son and Imogen Poots will play an 18 year-old who is dealing with loneliness and family problems. Production is set to start next month in London and hopefully we’ll see this in theaters next year. (Deadline)
