Jennifer Lawrence will have to battle Stephanie Leigh Schlund in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Jennifer Lawrence and Stephanie Leigh Schlund

Lionsgate has cast another tribute alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the upcoming sequel THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE. Today you can meet Stephanie Leigh Schlund (THE LAST SONG) who will play Cashmere, a former winner from District 1. Cashmere is sister to another tribute, Gloss, and these siblings won back to back Hunger Games when Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) was younger. Cashmere is described as arrogant and conceited but friendly enough with other tributes (until she goes into the arena). Her big claim to fame in the book is during her interview with Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci) when she says how sorry she is that the Capital residents are losing so many of their victors whom they have come to love. Cashmere teams up with the Career pack in the arena.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will star: Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Stephanie Leigh Schlund (Cashmere), Jenna Malone (Johanna Mason), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy), Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Plutarch Heavensbee), Amanda Plummer (Wiress), Lynn Cohen (Mags), Alan Ritchson (Gloss), Bruno Gunn (Brutus), Meta Golding (Enobaria), E. Roger Mitchell (Chaff) and Maria Howell (Seeder). THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will be released in theaters on November 22, 2013. (Lionsgate)
