Seeking a Friend for the End of the World starring Keira Knightley and Steve Carell coming to Blu-ray in October

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that the comedy SEEKING A FRIEND FROM THE END OF THE WORLD (click the link to read the review), starring Keira Knightley, Steve Carell, Adam Brody and Rob Corddry, will be available in a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack on October 23rd, 2012.

SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD follows Dodge (Steve Carell) who after getting dumped by his wife decides to find his first love before the end of the world and brings his neighbor Penny (Keira Knightley) along for the ride. While on their adventure they encounter the many strange and crazy things that people will do when they discover that a 70-mile-wide asteroid is heading straight towards Earth and will destroy everything.

Somewhat surprisingly, SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD didn’t do so great at the box office, only brining in over $6 million.
