Liam Neeson and Maggie Grace look intense in new photos from Taken 2

Hot off the heels of the latest international trailer for TAKEN 2, we get a fresh new batch of photos from the film featuring Liam Neeson and Maggie Grace in action. Istanbul is featured prominently in the pics, with the marketing team perhaps hoping that these images will make people think the film is more than a straight-up action/revenge movie. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the first TAKEN, but I can’t shake the feeling that the second one is going to try too hard to justify its existence (meaning; I don’t think the first film needed a sequel). Regardless of the need for a sequel, watching Liam Neeson run around and beat up bad guys is always a good time. I’m also curious to see how much they’re going to work in Maggie Grace’s character since she supposedly has a much larger role this time around.
