Michael Shannon and Chris Evans star in The Iceman trailer

A new trailer has been released for the film THE ICEMAN and it looks more interesting than it originally sounded. Directed by Ariel Vromen, THE ICEMAN tells the true story of Richard Kuklinski (played by Michael Shannon) a hitman who worked for the mob and ended up killing over 100 people for them between 1964 and 1986. Michael Shannon seems to do a good job channeling the contract killer Richard Kuklinski, but what was more interesting was seeing Chris Evans in a supporting role that had him helping Kuklinski’s character. It’s just a far cry from the Chris Evans we’ve seen in the Captain America outfit.

THE ICEMAN stars: Michael Shannon, Chris Evans, Winona Ryder, Ray Liotta and David Schwimmer. No release date has been set yet, but look for THE ICEMAN to hit theaters at the end of this year or early 2013. Check out the trailer below.
