Clint Eastwood and Justin Timberlake shake hands in a new image from Trouble With The Curve

Clint Eastwood and Justin Timberlake in Trouble With The Curve

When Clint Eastwood isn’t speaking at the Republican National Convention or mocking the President in an awkward skit, he likes to spend his time making movies.  To remind us of that, Warner Bros. has released a new image from the film, featuring Clint Eastwood shaking hands with Justin Timberlake.  Perhaps this is symbolic of the older, conservative generation reaching an understanding with the younger, liberal population.  Or, maybe it’s just a random photo from a baseball film that is coming out in a couple of weeks.  Either way, Clint Eastwood’s recent headlines can’t hurt the film which hasn’t been able to generate much buzz up until now.

The film is about an aging baseball scout (Clint Eastwood) that takes his daughter (Amy Adams) out on one last road trip to see a hot prospect and along the way, they encounter a young scout (Justin Timberlake) that falls for the daughter.  The first trailer made it look like more of a relationship movie than a baseball movie, so it will be interesting to see how it plays to the general population.  TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE stars Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake, Amy Adams, John Goodman, Robert Patrick, Matt Bush and Matthew Lillard.   The Robert Lorenz directed film hits theaters everywhere on September 21st.
